I’m a curious writer captivated by human interest stories, from current events to the beautiful moments of everyday life! Right now, I'm focused on editing my first book, but when inspiration strikes, I craft engaging blogs, song lyrics, and brainstorm ideas for a script. As intimidating as it is to share my work, my intent is that it sparks feelings and emotions that resonate with you… hopefully in a wonderful way! While writing has always been a passion of mine since I was a child, after college I pursued consulting work and started raising a family. In recent years, the call to revisit my dream of writing has been so strong that I have started to clear the path to make that happen, and it's been amazing. 

When I’m not immersed in words, I’m a proud mom to three wildly different kids, a wife to an incredibly hardworking husband, and a director in public sector procurement. With the help of inspiring mentors and a dedicated team of critical thinkers, we've been able tackle problems that enhance public service. My faith is the cornerstone of my life, and while I may be a bit shy about sharing it, I’m always excited to discuss it with those who show genuine interest. I grew up in Michigan, spent 16 years in Washington DC, enjoyed four years in NYC, and then found my way to the Chicago suburbs during the pandemic.
